How to reach the hotel

Facing the beach and blue waters of the Mediterranean, the Miramar Hotel is located on the palm-tree promenade-"La Rambla", in the very heart of Badalona, just 20 meters away from the beach. The road is closed to traffic except a small railway line.

Barcelona is only 9 km from Badalona, and the best way to get there is by train with the train station located only a 5-minute walk from the hotel or by buses/metro combination (the nearest stop-20 minutes on foot)

From FRANCE (A-7)

Proceed along the A-7. About 50 km before Barcelona, at Granollers, take the C-60 to MATARÓ. Before reaching Mataró take the C-32 road to BARCELONA. Proceed straight on then take the BARCELONE GLÒRIES turnoff, when you arrive there you will find the sign for BADALONA-MOLLET

From MADRID, ZARAGOZA, LLEIDA (A-2, A-7) or VALENCIA on the A-7 Martorell toll road

Proceed along the A-7 or the A-2 . Before reaching Barcelona, follow the CINTURÓ LITORAL sign. You will see a pictogram of a boat. Proceed as far as junction 27 (Badalona-Mataró) , where you will join the C-31 motorway. Take junction 5 BADALONA N.-MOLLET .

From VALENCIA, TARRAGONA through the TÚNELS del GARRAF (C-32)

Proceed along the C-32 . Before reaching Barcelona, follow the CIUTAT VELLA sign. You will see a pictogram of a boat. Proceed as far as junction 27 (Badalona-Mataró), where you will join the C-31 motorway. Take junction 5 BADALONA N.-MOLLET .

From the AIRPORT

BY CAR
On leaving the airport follow the sign to CIUTAT VELLA (anagram of a boat) and you will reach the CINTURÓ LITORAL , proceed as far as junction 27 (Badalona-Mataró), where you will join the C-31 motorway. Take junction 5 BADALONA N.-MOLLET .

BY TRAIN
The airport train passes directly through Badalona so there is no need to change. It takes approximately 40 minutes and costs 1.70 euros. The airport trains leave every 13 and 43 minutes past the hour, every hour. The last two trains leave at 22.56 and 23.40.
Alight in BADALONA station, and on leaving the station turn right into the pedestrian walk which leads onto the palm trees promenade, La Rambla. The Hotel Miramar is 500 metres on the left.

BY TAXI
Tell the taxi-driver you want to go to BADALONA NORD and do not pay more than 50 euros. If you are charged more, ask for a receipt with the driver’s license number, which should be clearly visible in the front of the taxi. This does not usually happen but a few cases have been reported recently.

FROM THE MOTORWAY TO THE HOTEL

Leave the motorway at junction 5: BADALONA N.-MOLLET , MAKE SURE IT IS JUNCTION 5, and follow the signs to HOTEL MIRAMAR.
Take the avenue that goes down to the sea, President Companys, until it is obligatory to turn right, so that you are in the Via Augusta. After turning (before the Badalona Municipal Museum) take the first small street left, Eduard Fló. When you reach some traffic-lights turn left again into Francesc Layret, proceed as far as Josep Cortinas square (which has an underground car-park) where you will see a sign indicating the Hotel. Immediately after leaving this square turn right into Riera Matamoros, and continue to the end of the street, which is blocked off. Park the car in the hotel’s car-park entrance, and the hotel’s main entrance is in the avenue on the left.
