Eugenio Bermejo, the owner of Palacio de la Serna, is a well-known Spanish interior designer and painter, who retired early from his interior design career to dedicate his time to panting. He bought this 18th century former military garrison and transformed into a very unique hotel. He lives on the premises and runs the hotel practically from his studio that is in a way open to hotel guests. If you like to paint, you only have to say so and Eugenio will let you use his studio at no extra charge, except for the cost of the materials. The hotel is open all year and offers 20 rooms. Each room has been individually decorated by Eugenio. He uses a lot of contrast, for example: very colorful walls, iron works, antique furniture, you name it. Another emblem of Eugenio here, is his cooking, he is in charge of the kitchen and going with his personality, he does not follow any recipes, he calls it the author's cooking, every time something different.
