Built as a convent in 1596 by the Dávila de la Cueva family, the Parador de Almagro is located in the historical-artistic district. This prime location is ideal for discovering the most beautiful parts of Almagro and the natural spaces surrounding it, among which stand out the Tablas de Daimiel. The 55 inner rooms are welcoming with an elegant, peaceful atmosphere, with the 14 inner courtyards, the splendid garden and the swimming pool standing out from the ensemble. The bedrooms, installed in the former monastic cells, also offer peace and quiet. Beautiful galleries, wood and latticework complete the inner atmosphere. In the restaurant the traditional recipes of La Mancha are accompanied by Arabic influences, among which can be mentioned "pisto manchego" (fried vegetables), "migas" (fried breadcrumbs), the cod dishes "mojete" and "tiznao" and Almagro aubergines. The hotel accepts major credit cards.



Half or full board is required during Theater Festival.

Location

The Parador rises up on the Ronda de San Francisco, a central location of Almagro close to the most important monuments of the town. It is located 22 kilometers away from Ciudad Real, the capital of the province.
