The Riu Flamingo Apartment Hotel forms a complex with the Riu Papayas Hotel. Located in the subtropical garden, the hotel offers 203 apartments and studios, equipped with a private bathroom, centralised air conditioning, American kitchen, satellite TV, background music, safety-deposit box, 1 or 2 bedrooms, living room with sofa-bed, large balcony. Guests can enjoy a restaurant with non smoking area, lounge bar, card games room and reading area, TV/video area, hairdresser and shops, heated swimming pool with children's section, complimentary loungers, cabins, towels and some umbrellas by the pool, loungers and sun umbrellas on the beach, terrace-solarium, pool snack bar and a children's playground. The hotel is locate on Gran Canaria, 500 m away from the centre of Playa del Ingles, 1,5 km away from Playa del Ingles beach (there is complimentary bus service to the beach), 400 m away from the shopping centres "Metro", "Yumbo" and "Kasbah", 50 m away from the bus stop, and 30 km away from the airport.
