Surrounded by a huge garden of palm trees and artificial lakes, the Riu Grand Palace Hotel is privileged with direct access to the beach. The hotel offers 342 rooms, equipped with a private bathroom with hairdryer, direct-dial telephone, air conditioning, fan (some of rooms), mini-bar, satellite TV, background music, safety-deposit box, balcony or terrace. Most of the rooms reveal views of the sea or garden. Inside the hotel guests can find 3 restaurants ("Oasis" - restaurant with no smoking area, "Foresta" - restaurant with terrace, "Le Jardin" - a la carte restaurant), lounge bar, TV/video area, games area (bridge, chess), conference room, sauna, massage, hairdresser and shops. Outside the hotel you can enjoy a heated fresh water pool, loungers, towels and some umbrellas by the pool, loungers and sun umbrellas on the beach, terrace-solarium, pool bar and garden bar with stage. The children have a mini club, playground and a separate swimming pool for them. Other hotel amenities include tennis courts, billiard, table tennis, volley ball, putting green and gym. There is also an entertainment programme for children and adults, with live music and shows. On the beach and in the vicinity you can find two 18-hole golf courses, mini-golf, squash, windsurfing, sailing, water-skiing, jet ski, banana boat, motor boats, water bikes, parachute sailing and bicycle rental. The hotel is located on Gran Canaria, directly on Playa de Maspalomas, near "El Faro" and the Maspalomas sand dunes, 5 km away from Playa del Ingles, 300 m away from the shopping centre, 200 m away from the bus stop and 37 km away from the airport.
