Hotel Calan Blanes is situated around a tiny cove and a pretty beach, just round the coast from the lively and busy resort of Calan Forcat. The old capital of Cuitadela is only a 10-minute drive and is worth a visit for a day or two. This is a good choice for families, with plenty of places to eat out, many of which offer children's' menus. Nightlife is varied, with music bars and restaurants forming the majority here, although the Los Delfines area of Cal'n Forcat is much livelier. There are regular bus services to Ciutadella, which is well worth a visit either day or night, with its ancient building and fantastic restaurants along the harbor front.
