Located 3 km. from the N-III Madrid-Valencia highway, the Parador de Alarcón is housed in authentic 8th century fortress set above the meandering river. The fortress has long and interesting history. It was founded by Muslim, and then taken over by King Alfonso VII. The hotel was completely renovated in 2003 creating the appearance of the original fortress. The internal decoration is a mixture of modern and classical styles. Fabric create a medieval character. Guests will admire original paintings of Spanish artists.
The hotel is surrounded by beautiful grounds where you can practice mountain biking, canoeing, trekking, horse riding and walking.
Guests will dine in an elegant restaurant serving cuisine of La Mancha region. Desserts and drinks are prepared according to recipes dating back to Arab times. The area is famous from vineyards. Guests can taste magnificent wines.

The Parador de Alarcon Hotel features 10 stylish rooms. The original stone walls, Arabic style original arches and stylish decorations create an impression of living in the fairy tale.
