Although the hotel was opened in 1986, the history of the building goes back to the XV century, when it was founded as the St. Lazaro's Hospital. It was used later as an orphanage. The hotel took its name from Queen Cristina, who lived in it for a while. It stands next to Tavera Museum and the Bollring, close to the Bisagra Door. The hotel features 73 air-conditioned rooms equipped with a full bathroom with a hairdryer, satellite TV, data port, radio, direct dial telephone, automatic alarm clock and a mini-bar.
